Nanocrystalline Core

Nanocrystalline is a new type of Fe-based soft magnetic materials. Traditionally, metal crystalline materials with larger crystal grains were considered to have better magnetic characteristics. However, Nanocrystalline is invented with extremely small crystal grains ( at around 10nm, that’s why it is called Nano materials), considerably improve the magnetic characteristics.

Compared with cobalt-based amorphous and ferrite, nanocrystalline has higher saturation magnetic induction and can reduce the volume of magnetic devices. High permeability, low loss, and low coercivity can reduce the loss of magnetic devices. Therefore, nanocrystalline alloys are the best soft magnetic materials for high-frequency power electronic applications.
